Global Establishes Southern California Location

Global Diving & Salvage,Inc. is pleased to announce the expansion of its California Regional operations with the addition of a new office in Southern California. Located in Signal Hill near Long Beach,the new office supports Global’s core service lines; Marine Construction,Casualty Response and Offshore Support. Danny Broadhurst,Global’s California Operations Manager and Manager of the new facility,is excited to have this newly established regional presence: “This new location will ensure rapid response and support to clients in the Ports of Los Angeles,Long Beach,San Diego as well as throughout the Southwest.” Broadhurst goes on to say “as the largest diving company on the west coast,Global’s continued expansion of regional capacities will provide customers with the quality of service known as ‘The Global Way’. In addition to adhering to Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI) policies and recommendations,Global is now one of the few dive companies in North America to have been audited and accepted as a member of IMCA (International Maritime Contractors Association). Global’s Mare Island Office Now Open

The move is complete and both of the California regional offices have joined in the Mare Island facility. This new facility will house both the Rio Vista and Richmond staff and be the hub for all diving and environmental services. The new location has 3,400 square feet of office space,18,000 square feet warehouse,and an additional 6,000 square feet outside storage.

Global Opens a New Office in Richmond, CA

Global Diving & Salvage,Inc is pleased to anounce the opening an office in Richmond,CA. This new location will increase our presence and expand our services into the San Francisco Bay Area. The new Richmond office will be working hand in hand with our Rio Vista office to ensure that our standards of excellence in performance,safety,and customer service are delivered above expectations to existing and new clientele. The office will be headed by Kyle Watson.

Kyle Watson,CMA Class of ’99,has been with Global,in the Seattle office for seven years. He currently holds a USCG 3rd Mate’s unlimited license,40hr HAZWOPER certificate,and ICS 400 level certification. Kyle’s experience includes serving as an Officer in the USCG Reserve as well as working on and supervising a wide variety of preventative environmental services including; oil spill and casualty response,vessel salvage,derelict vessel removal,demolition,marine fendering,and other marine services.
