Jose’ Vindeola Joins Global’s Gulf Coast Region

Global Diving & Salvage,Inc. announces the hiring of Jose’ Vindeola,joining the Gulf Coast Region in the Business Development / Technical Support position. Mr. Vindeola will be essential in providing Global’s current client base with high quality solutions and also stewarding expansion both nationally and abroad.

Jose’ Vindeola has cultivated an extensive background within the Maritime Industry,with over 30 years of diving experience in both the Offshore and Inland sectors. He comes to Global Diving & Salvage,Inc. having spent several years in Project Management and Business Development roles.

Global Welcomes Ryan Smith, New Gulf Coast Region General Manager

HOUSTON,TX— Global Diving and Salvage,Inc.,based in Seattle,WA,announces the hiring of Ryan Smith as general manager for its Gulf Coast Regional office,based in Houston,TX. In this position,Mr. Smith will be responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as the development of business opportunities.

“Smith understands our unique diving personality and company philosophy,and is someone who will be a good leader and manager for our Gulf operations,” states Devon Grennan,Global’s President. “Smith’s extensive experience in the maritime industry,coupled with his knowledge of the Gulf Coast market,provides him a unique perspective into this emerging market.”

Smith brings over 12 years of experience in the maritime industry in the Gulf Coast region. He comes from his previous position as the Vice President of Shipyard Representation at L&R Midland,responsible for managing the daily operations of the Shipyard Representation group. He was tasked with the cultivation,retention and growth of clients in the Houston shipping,drilling,and offshore construction market. Smith holds a degree in Marine Engineering Technology from the Maine Maritime Academy.

Global Opens New Office in Houston, TX

Global Diving & Salvage,Inc. has announced the opening of a new facility in northeast Houston,TX. The property has 2000 sq. ft. of office space and another 20,000 sq. ft. of warehouse capacity on 2.5 acres. This new regional office will allow Global Diving & Salvage,Inc to support their existing and future Offshore Energy Clients in the Gulf of Mexico.

“The new facility provides us the ability to maintain personnel and equipment in the local area”,said Bruce Humberstone ,Manager of Global Diving & Salvage’s Gulf of Mexico Region,“This allows us to better serve our existing customers as well enable us to respond more timely to emergent opportunities”.
