Gowdy, Brockmoller promoted to new Marine Construction positions

Global Diving & Salvage, Inc. is proud to announce the promotions of Renee Gowdy and Lee Brockmoller, two key members of Global’s Marine Construction, Engineering & Technology team.

“Global has seen impressive growth the last few years, and Renee and Lee have both played critical roles in helping us achieve and maintain our goals,” said Mike Langen, Vice President of Marine Construction, Engineering & Technology.  “Their advancement is not only well-deserved; their new roles will help Global as we continue to seek out new projects and opportunities across the US.”

Renee Gowdy Estimating Group ManagerMs. Gowdy, Global’s Estimating Group Manager, has been promoted to the position of Construction Group Manager. She will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the group, providing oversight and direction of projects and personnel, and will also be working closely with Global’s Business Development Group to identify and pursue new opportunities and customers. Ms. Gowdy has been with Global since 2010 and has been in the construction industry for more than 30 years. Her expertise in estimating and preconstruction project development has been critical to Global’s successful bidding efforts.

Global’s Lead Estimator, Lee Brockmoller, has been promoted to the position of Chief Estimator; he will be responsible for the Marine Construction Group’s bidding and proposal efforts. Mr. Brockmoller has been with Global since 2016, and has more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry as a project manager and estimator. He has managed numerous marine construction projects at Global, directing multiple concurrent operations from bidding through to completion with effective team management.
