Hurricane Ivan struck the Gulf of Mexico in September 2004, causing severe damage to numerous rigs in the area. The Ensco 64 jack-up rig was declared a total loss. Global conducted this saturation dive project to recover debris, a blow out preventer, and salvage the jack-up legs. Burning, hot-tap operations, rigging, and survey operations were completed. Work was done at approximately 300 feet.
